        Family Voices is a national, grassroots clearinghouse for information and education concerning the health care of children with special health needs.  We stay on top of public and private sector health care changes that affect our children and families through the collective efforts of our families; a volunteer Coordinator in every state; 10 Regional Coordinators; and a small staff working in several locations around the country.

National Alliance for the Mentally Ill (NAMI) - New York State: www.naminys.org

National Information Center for Children and Youth with Disabilities:  www.nichcy.org
        National clearinghouse for families and professionals that offers information about disabilities and related services and programs in each state, and publishes a newsletter.  NICHCY also assists with referrals and provides state resource sheets.

National Organization for Rare Disorders (NORD):  www.rarediseases.org 
    Search their database on disorders, foundations, organizations and agencies. Lots of good information.
