Parent Coordinator I am originally from Yonkers. In 2004 I moved to Mahopac in Putnam County. I have one son, Bryan, who is 10 years old with Aspergers. My husband, Bryan and I have been together for 20 years I originally started with The Family Connection as an Initial Service Coordinator and later realized that I wanted to help parents in other ways. As Parent to Parent Coordinator I update the bulletin board at WIHD with resource information and upcoming events, match parents with other parents, do research, outreach, update our resource files with new information, daily contact with ECDC for new information, trading information and outreach together, visit the hospital at Westchester Medical Center to visit with Child Life and Nurses station. One very important thing I believe I do to for parents is to go the extra mile to look for a resource for a family
