Art and Soul - Art Therapy Program

        Art therapy program offering individual, family and group art therapy. Art groups are geared towards children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Social/Communication Delay, Attention Deficit Disorder or ADD/ADHD. Please call 845-358-2434 for more information.

Parent Support Group
Mental Health Association in Orange County
        Group of families of children ages 8 and younger who have any type of developmental disability meets at 7:30 pm at the Mental Health Association in Orange county. Call Anne or Hava at (914) 294-7411 ext 253 or 254.

Support group for families of individuals with Autism/PDD will meet on the first Tuesday of the month only, beginning in April.

        Services for the integration and empowerment of people with disabilities, including: adults and children with mental retardation; developmental disabilities; mental illness, and the dually diagnosed.  The agency is a non-profit provider whose programs are certified by either the NYS Office of Mental Retardation and Developmental Disabilities (OMRDD) or the NYS Office of Mental Health.  SSI benefits and state funding satisfy fees for eligible consumers.
        For people living in the communities of the Hudson Valley Region, the organization provides Service Coordination, In-home Residential Habilitation, Day Habilitation, Educational and Vocational Services, Job Placement, Respite House, In-home Respite Care, Group and Independent Supportive, Shelter Care Plus, HUD Support6ive Housing for Families, Supportive Case Management, Orange County Single Point of Access, Invisible Children's Project, Shelter Care Plus, Community Development for the Homeless.

Greystone's Home Behavior Therapy Program available in Putman, Dutchess and Ulster Counties. Home Behavior Therapy program is designed to improve the quality of family life, providing family members with training, support, information and behavioral services directly in the family home. The program can address challenging behaviors such as aggression, temper tantrums, socialization problems. For families residing in the Orange County area.  Families of children with developmental disabilities are invited to join together for a morning of activities followed by a cooperative lunch. Each family is asked to bring a snack, finger food, beverage or dessert to share at the cooperative lunch which follows all the activities of the morning.
