NEW Support Group--Families & Friends of Those with Autism Spectrum Disorder meeting April 23, 2007 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. and will feature Trish Bressler, Autism Psychologist for Corning-Painted Post School District with an update on this school's progress. Support Parents Sought Finger Lakes Parent Network, Inc.—Any child or youth with an emotional, behavioral and/or mental disorder and his/her family residing in any of the nine counties is eligible for services. Those counties are Wayne, Ontario, Seneca, Yates, Schuyler, Steuben, Chemung, Tioga and Allegany. It is not necessary for the child to have been diagnosed or identified by either the school district or a medical professional. All services are provided free of charge. Parents Only, a support group for parents of children and teens with mental health and/or developmental issues, meets from 6:30-8:00 p.m. on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of the month at St. John's Catholic Church, Orlean, beginning January 25, 2006.
